Rep. Lauren Boebert reveals the Biden DOJ launched an investigation into political opponents

Republican U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, claiming that President Joe Biden’s Justice Department launched an investigation into her and several other GOP lawmakers.

“Well, everyone, the Biden DOJ and FBI just got caught red‑handed. They launched a completely fake investigation called Operation Rampart 12, claiming I was mapping out the Capitol for January 6th,” Boebert said.

Boebert said prosecutors acknowledged they had no evidence linking her to the alleged operation.

“On January 22, the FBI opened the case anyway. Six months later, still nothing. So, on July 19, they quietly extended it without any new facts,” she said.

She added that investigators reviewed her campaign mileage logs, bank statements, and toll records in their search for wrongdoing.

“They found nothing because there was nothing,” Boebert said.

Boebert ended the video by calling for action against what she described as the government’s “weaponization” against Americans.
